Did you know if you are current on your maintenance that Open Systems has a customer portal site you can create a login to access OSAS or Traverse information for no extra cost? This is a great resource tool that is available 24/7 and an area Open Systems hopes to keep enhancing.

Information that can found on the customer portal is:

· Support Documentation including User Tips and Year End Checklists

· Searchable Knowledge database

· User Guides

· Recorded Online Training and Demos – videos you can watch online

· Enhancement Lists for current versions and/or upcoming versions

· Payroll tax compliance paper changes

A total solution for secure, efficient electronic banking

Info - Alert automatically scans your business data daily looking for any information that meets the peramaters you have defined. Once, found alerts are generated and the notifications process begins. For more inoformation on the Info - Alert, click here

With Info-Alert, you define a specific set of parameters. When conditions occur that meet those parameters, an alert is sent-via email or report-to those individuals assigned to receive the notification (employees, customers, vendors, etc.).

Printing from Open Systems or Traverse to a PDF file

Periodically I get asked how can you print forms or reports to a .pdf file. Just sharing some options for you. One is to buy the Adobe PDF writer, but if you don't want to buy a software, there are PDF converters you can download for free. One PDF converter to check out is www.dopdf.com.

Basically what PDF converters do is install a virtual printer (Ex: Dopdf) in your Windows printers list. Then when you are in OSAS or TRAVERSE, you would select the PDF Printer vs. your actual printer to print a report. Now you can save it as a .pdf file or e-mail the file. You can also use this with any other software applications you can print from like Word or Excel.
