Recently one of our clients requested a printing solution for their Remote Desktop Services configuration. This particular client had users that would connect at the office, RDP into the RDS farm and print to their Active Directory-mapped default printer. This was all well and good until any of the users took their laptops home and tried to print in a RDP session. Because the RDP client connection was set to automatically map the default printer, the user was still using their work printer as the default.
