Copenhagen, Denmark — February 2nd, 2015 — Columbus (OMX: COLUM) announces today that it has acquired InterDyn BMI, a leading US Microsoft partner. With the acquisition of InterDyn BMI, Columbus seeks to further strengthen its market position and reach in the US market.

“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of InterDyn BMI, as it will increase our market share and growth potential in the US. InterDyn BMI is a solid company and with strong customer base, and with a total number of 23 offices across the country, Columbus will strengthen our reach and position in the US significantly”, says Thomas Honoré, CEO, Columbus.

Since its founding in 1985, InterDyn BMI has built substantial market share and with significant annual growth the last five years, the company today services more than 2,200 customers. InterDyn BMIs strength in the small and medium business segment compliments Columbus‘ historic strength in the upper mid and lower enterprize market places.

“The US market is a key focus for Columbus and this acquisition significantly enhances the breadth and depth of solution we can offer businesses in the US.  We can better serve a larger more diversified set of clients with solutions that deliver sustainable competitive advantages,” says Thomas Hauge, Columbus US Managing Director.

InterDyn BMI, which now has 160 employees, will continue under the name InterDyn BMI, a Columbus company. In 2014, InterDyn BMI had revenues of 29m USD.

“Given the global reach and size of Columbus, I am confident that InterDyn BMI will be in an even stronger position to pursue our ambition to create lifelong relationships with our customers and continue growing our business”, says John Hendrickson, President, InterDyn BMI.

The joint entity will be among the leading value providers of Microsoft Dynamic ERP solutions in the US, well positioned to provide for the needs of customers in the US in the years to come.

The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, is with immediate effect.
