InterDyn BMI and Columbus Join Forces!
Columbus announced on Monday, February 2nd, 2015 that it has acquired InterDyn BMI, an acquisition that will significantly increase its market share and maximize performances in all markets simultaneously. Operating as separate companies with unique strategies, Columbus’ extensive resources and global reach will help to accelerate the pace of innovation and growth for InterDyn BMI.
As a publicly-held company headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Columbus focuses in the retail, manufacturing and food sectors and has successfully delivered over 6,000 ERP implementations in 42 countries.
InterDyn BMI and Columbus customers will notice virtually no change. Both companies will continue to serve their customers with the same team members as before the acquisition and will continue to provide excellent customer service. Many will benefit, however, from the added resources the acquisition brings:
- Global reach
- Software development centers
- Broader product expertise
- Award-winning industry software
- Deeper vertical proficiency
- Security of being served by a large, publicly-held partner
- More customers served from 23 offices throughout the U.S.
The new entity will operate as InterDyn BMI, a Columbus company, the leading Microsoft partner in the United States with thousands of implementations and 2,200 active customers. Founded in 1985, InterDyn BMI sells and deploys the full suite of Microsoft Dynamics products including GP, CRM, AX, NAV and RMS. The company now has 160 employees in the United States to incorporate over 1,100 globally.
